Manga Drawing Deluxe
My first How to Draw Manga book "Manga Drawing Deluxe" (in English) has been released, you can buy it online/ a bookstore now.. I have drawn many instruction drawings for Chris Hart's how to draw manga books, acceding to his request, but I did everything this time. It was not easy, hard work but it was worth it.
German edition is on the line, it will be released in September.

My name is Nao Yazawa. l'm a Tokyo-based, self-taught manga artist and teacher. Throughout the years, I've searched for good how-to books for drawing manga to use in my class- especially ones that discuss composition and story/panel flow. I finally decided to make one myself.
Manga Drawing Deluxe isn't your ordinary how-to book. I wrote it with a story-line, so you can follow Anne and her brother Dan along their manga adventure, guided by two manga elves and me (with a little help from my cat, Kuro).
I've included as many topics about drawing manga as possible. From drawing characters to composition, you can learn the entire manga-making process here. My hope is that you can use this book for many years, so I included some advanced techniques in the background and construction sections.
Once you embark on your (and Anne's and Dan's) manga journey to get an idea of the manga drawing process, you can go through this book in order or jump to whichever part you'd like to focus on -- face, body, background, or composition. Learning how to compose a graphic novel will give you a new perspective on manga and will help you enjoy reading them even more.

Manga drawing lessons in English began in 2013 by Manga artist Nao Yazawa. In particular, the two-hour trial class has been very popular, especially among visitors from overseas, so currently three instructors are teaching the class. All teachers can speak English, and classes are conducted using a curriculum created by Nao Yazawa. In 2 hours, you will learn how to draw manga characters using professional manga tools such as manga pens and screen tones, and you will actually follow the manga production process to completion.  Nao Yazawa A Japanese manga artist. She is most well known for her manga series Wedding Peach which was made into an anime series of the same name. Both manga and anime are translated into several launguages. Since 2008, she has had many manga workshops in Germany, Denmark, Austria, USA and Canada.(in English) You can read more detailed achievements on the bottom of this page. Nao Yazawa started teaching manga drawing lessons in English at Manga School Nakano in 2013. She has designed a curriculum in which you can learn the basic steps of creating manga in a 2-hour trial class and complete your own drawing.  Rena Saiya She is a professional Mangaka(manga creator who creates both stories and art) living in Tokyo. She worked with the publisher Shogakukan publisher in Japan using another pen name and published 12 manga books through it, and now is a freelance mangaka. She also has a background in teaching manga-drawing and story development to students at a vocational school in Tokyo. She has expanded her focus abroad in recent years, making use of her strong background in the Japanese manga industry. She works on international manga projects and utilizes her English-speaking ability to closely collaborate with her global partners online.  Sachi She graduated from Tama Art University's oil painting department. She has worked as a graphic designer for teaching materials after graduating from the university. And now, she is a freelance illustrator who creates comics and illustrations for companies. She uses a wide range of art materials, from analog materials such as dip pens and watercolors to digital tools such as Illustrator, CLIP STUDIO, and Blender. In addition, as a result of learning English, she has been working as a concierge at a commercial facility in Tokyo, providing guidance to people from Japan and overseas. She is also an illustrator for the business where she works as a concierge. Nao Yazawa 
She teaches in-person workshops at Nakano Manga School, in Nakano-ku, Tokyo, where she also maintains the studio where she hosts her online classes.
She is the author of the instructional guide Manga Drawing Deluxe.(will be released on 12 May 2020)
